2022 W.I.N. GRANT AWARDEES ANNOUNCED
We are bridging the financial wealth gap by utilizing the strengths existing within our local BIPOC community to educate, uplift, and support people of color in our area.
It is time to dismantle institutional systems designed to sustain the vast racial wealth disparities by subduing our attempts to access financial autonomy.
Empowering existing local talent to share their wealth of knowledge and obtain the support needed allows our community to flourish and build strong local networks to continue to grow and thrive. We believe that closing the financial wealth gap is a key aspect of attaining liberation from systemic inequities.
Collectively we will:
Maintain a safe space for the BIPOC business community to foster relationships. through monthly mixers, networking, and peer-led seminars, we will gain insight through conscious engagement on shared needs and opportunities for collaboration.
Cultivate community ownership by centering work around equity and true collaboration. Together we will break the deep mental, physical, and institutional barriers rooted in white supremacy.
Build & invest in an equitable future for BIPOC by providing professional education in financial management, both personal and business, as well as wealth management including asset building and management, retirement planning, life insurance, real estate, and stock investing.
